I am a full time, year round resident and Real Estate Broker in Highlands. Several years ago, my wife and I purchased a small summer place a few blocks from Main Street. We love the cool, crisp temperatures that come with an elevation of 4,118 feet. The summer high temperatures in Highlands seldom exceed 80 degrees. The beautiful flowers in the spring and summer, the colorful leaves in the fall, and the small town atmosphere lured us to become year-round citizens of Highlands. We even enjoy the winters here. We both feel very blessed to be able to call Highlands our home.
